One of the more fascinating vehicles of Old West was the Conestoga built in Pennsylvania, Conestoga Valley. From roughly 1750 to 1890, the curved body kept the load at the center of the wagon enabling it to haul ten tons of freight. The Conestoga wagon was used by the pioneers that crossed the Continent. People had to walk because the inside was taken up by cargo.
